Welcome to Palm Tree Gardens

Two acres of botanical gardens...

Spend a morning or afternoon in paradise learning about the island's tropical plants and how Grenada earned the title of "Isle of Spice".

Two acres of botanical gardens, over 300 plant species, including 40 palm varieties, anthuriums, bromeliads, and orchids. Stop by the lily pod and take a peek at our red-footed tortoises

Wow, so great. Absolutely gorgeous location, with breeze and amazing mountain and ocean views. And it was so nice to meet and learn from Lawrence. I highly recommend this activity.

Palm Tree Gardens is a hidden gem in Grenada. We called ahead for a reservation and had an excellent tour with Lance. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Palm Tree Gardens has a rich history and offers amazing varieties of flowers and plants every month of the year. The tortoises are also a treat to see close up as they live happily in the gardens. This gem is worth the drive to visit.

This beautifully composed garden carries almost 400 different species of a tropical plant, including around 14 different palms. We took about an hour to explore it but would’ve happily stayed for longer. Shawndex is the perfect successor to Lawrence with his passion for the garden - plus his encyclopedic knowledge of every plant makes him a brilliant guide. Thank you so much for this inspiring young man for making our visit so special.

Thank you to Lawrencia for a most unexpected magical tour of this secret garden...the flowers and trees and tortoises were all lovely..beauty and knowledge in one package...thanks also to Shawndex, a very impressive young horticulturalists.

My highlight was the large pink lotus flower..what a sight!! And the green lotus seed pod of another plant...beauty at both levels!!

We visited the Palm Tree Garden with a local guide - the garden and history of are fascinating- a must-visit!

A lovely, interesting place to visit. We had an excellent, young guide who was very knowledgeable about the different plants. Well worth a visit.

This place is absolutely stunning, Lawrence the owner was such a great tour guide through the wonderful landscapes and spectacular flora he has build over many years of hard work.
